I bought this boat in Copenhagen, could you help me find out what class it is because I really don't have a clue

Length is 1390 mm, beam 280 mm, mast 1680 mm, boom 570 mm weight ca 6-8 kg. Some of the medals on the back date back to 1933

This looks like an interesting and possibly important boat. From the silver plaques on the stern, which I take to be records of her racing successes, she dates from the 1930s and was used in serious competition. The clubs I don't of course know, but it is possible that the present Danish model yachting authority will be able to help. They are at soeren_andresen@yahoo.dk

Can we have more info? Any sail markings? A profile view would also be helpful. On what we have so far, she might be a 6-meter to the international Rule of 1930.

The Scandinavians sailed some of the classes used in the UK, but also, I think some local classes. The steering gear is very simple, not to say primitive for the period and may be a local solution appropriate to open water sailing and handling the boats from skiffs.

Where did the boat come from? do we have any history from the seller?
